BSQ in Schools
The Bible Society is committed to introducing Queensland young people to the Bible. Youth are the future, but sadly there are so many in desperate need of genuine self-worth and a strong foundation of God-designed morals. Through our Schools Workers and strong partnerships with SU Qld, Red Frogs and Youth Alive, we are putting relevant Scriptures in the hands of young people wherever possible – from the classroom to Schoolies Week.
In 2007, we added our first full time Primary Schools Worker, Peter Blase. Peter has a passion to see young people grow and flourish through a love of the Bible and God. The BSQ schools workers, along with the huge growth of school chaplaincy, are an unprecedented missional opportunity to connect with young Queenslanders.

The first to come on board is Jeremy - we'll have more information about him soon, but as a taster, he's been involved with RE in schools from the age of 14, when he cycled, guitar in hand, to RE sessions at a local school....
